Peacock Foundation, Inc. has a small staff of three dedicated to transparency and best practices in grant making. Staff members work with applicants to ensure the completion of all applications, which are fully vetted through site visits and other research. Grantees’ progress is monitored through evaluation reports.

Joelle Allen

Joëlle Allen – Executive Director

Joëlle Allen has been with Peacock Foundation, Inc. since 1997 and became Executive Director in 2003. Her priorities include building strong partnerships with grantees, collaborating with other funders, and being a fiscally responsible steward of philanthropic funds. With degrees from Boston University and the University of Miami, she is active in the Florida Philanthropic Network.

Barbie Quesada

Barbara Quesada – Administrative Assistant

Barbie Quesada began work at Peacock Foundation, Inc. in 2004 with more than 25 years of secretarial and administrative experience in companies such as Honeywell and Ingersoll-Rand. She also is the very pleasant voice to greet callers to the Foundation.

Katharine McCune

Katharine McCune – Operations and Program Assistant

Katharine McCune began working with Peacock Foundation, Inc. in January 2017. Previously she spent seven years leading the annual selections process for City Year Miami’s AmeriCorps members. She is a proud AmeriCorps Alum (through NC Campus Compact and City Year Miami). Katharine studied business management at UNC Charlotte and Higher Education Administration at Florida International University. With her experience, Katharine brings a desire to improve systems, processes, and tools, while always providing a high level of service.
